Amounts include negative adjustments in the selected files; separate refunds may not be reflected. Totals span all covered years rather than one cycle. Verified identities combine prior candidacies; unmatched FEC candidate IDs remain separate. Coverage is not a guarantee of every lifetime dollar.
The default accumulates the covered years, rather than showing only the latest cycle. FEC committee-contribution files cover consecutive 1980–2026 cycles (calendar years beginning in 1979). Verified politician identities combine earlier candidacies. Other candidate IDs remain separate. Each committee’s actual date range is shown with its rankings.
AIPAC’s contribution totals replace the committee-only ranking with ChamberLight’s published FEC-filing reconciliation since December 2021, through October 14, 2026: committee giving plus individual donations earmarked through AIPAC, minus reported refunds. The published components are shown separately. Four rows have an unexplained component residual, which is labeled unclassified rather than silently assigned. Every imported net total reconciles with its published gross amount minus refunds. Money from other pro-Israel organizations is excluded.
For other committees, historical contributions do not yet include routed individual donations. Outside support and opposition remain separate. From 2010 onward they use 24- and 48-hour notices with amended filings replacing earlier versions; earlier cycles use periodic-report entries. Neither outside spending nor opposition spending is added to money a candidate received. State races, inter-committee transfers and lobbying are excluded.
The optional 2025–2026 view preserves the narrower committee-only snapshot: latest included contribution 2026-10-14, latest outside dissemination 2026-10-27. Negative adjustments are included, but separate refunds may not be fully reflected in FEC-derived rows. Sources have different coverage, so totals should not be treated as proof of influence, wrongdoing or agreement on every issue. Searches use no paid API or AI calls.
